The Giver

"The Giver" One of my favourite books of all time... over the years, read more times than any other book... Ironically I don't own a copy of the book... but many a library have leant it to me. It's just amazing.... It's the story of a young boy who lives in a "perfect" society, only he is less than perfect, he thinks and feels and knows things people in a "perfect" world have no business knowing and he is alienated for the knowing. Just amazing, y'all should read it!! It's by Lois Lowry... I've read a few other of her books... all of them are quite awesome... if you're into juvenile literature... which I apparently am. LOL
