Coulee with Dad

Dad came for a visit yesterday all the way from Ontario, we went down to the coulee and had a grand time of it. I got so sunburnt, hot, sore, dehydrated & rashy. LOL but it was worth it. The coulee is so beautiful, it's like another world apart from the city. When you go down into it the first part is like big rolling meadows and then there is a drop and it is all through forested paths. At the bottom is the river that was rather muddy so not as pretty as I've seen it, but the mud was a lot of fun. Here's some pics:
