Burner cell phones

Okay this is an old word of the day.... but I've held onto it to try to find more info and I can't! The only reference I can find to burner cell phones is the one given in urbandictionary. (Oh and of course some misc gangsta movies!) so if anyone knows anything more please let me know. :-)

A throwaway prepaid cellphone, typically used by dealers. Used until the minutes are up, then thrown away so they cannot be tapped.
