Furby

For Christmas Santa brought me a Furby! You remember Furby? The somewhat "robotic" toy that "learned" English the more you spoke to it. Well they've managed to make a new Furby. This one can do more and say more, although still in a limited languages capacity. It can play games, tell jokes, tell stories, sing songs, dance, eat and tell you how it's doing. The best part is when you no longer want to talk to Furby you tell him to "go to sleep" and he does! LOL



I think they could improve on the design for Furby though. I think they should make "Punk Furby" for adults. Punk Furby would come with bright multi-coloured hair, optional piercings, a cigarette to smoke on a, a liquor bottle to drink from and be wearing a thong, or a leather jacket. He would learn more words and would be especially prone to picking up on swear words or things that you probably wouldn't want repeated like when you make fun of your girlfriend when she's out of the room. It would be hilarious!
They could also make "Corporate Furby" who comes with a briefcase, sports coat and cell phone. He would learn such phrases as "yes sir", "no sir", "I'll have the on your desk by morning", "I'll have my secretary type it up" and so on. He would be a replacement for you when the boss called to talk on the phone when you have better things to do, like play solitaire.
